Sweet, citrusy, with a sriracha kick that builds — this is the sauce that will completely transform your most basic salad. It’s bold, and it has this addictive quality where one drizzle turns into five. A little goes a long way and it goes on absolutely everything.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil

  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard

  • 2 teaspoons lime juice

  • ¼ teaspoon lime zest (about half the lime)

  • ¼ teaspoon tamari

  • 1 garlic clove, peeled

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small blender and puree until smooth.
  • Use immediately or store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Notes

  • Only a very small amount of sauce is needed to punch up the flavour, sauce lightly to begin.
  • If you only have a regular sized blender, you may need to double the recipe to ensure it will blend until smooth. If not, you could grate the garlic and mix the sauce by hand.
